Editing

What is editing and why is it important?

Editing means analyzing and correcting the translated text using a multi-stage process, which consists of reviewing terminology and content, and providing in-depth recommendations when necessary. During this stage, I will check the accuracy, consistency and style of the translation against the source text.

I will make comments, suggestions and corrections directly into your translated document. Unless otherwise stated, I will use the “Track change” tool in Microsoft Word. This way, it will be easier for you or the translator to identify, implement or refuse the recommended amendments.
